Eye Exercises To Improve Vision

-Glasses, contacts and surgery are not the only means to correcting your vision. Eye exercises can be used to improve your vision. These simple techniques can be done in the comfort of your own home, and an added plus is the money you save. Of course, there are some cases where glasses, contacts or surgery may be required. Talk to your doctor to see if these eye exercises are a viable option for improving your vision.

-Two exercise methods which have achieved overwhelming positive results are the Pinhole Glasses Exercise Method and the Bates Exercise Method. These eye exercise methods are both safe and inexpensive. What's more they are exercises which can be used in conjunction with one another and which actually complement one another.

-Of course eye exercises will only improve your vision if you follow them on a regular basis and are dedicated to improving your vision. Carrying out these exercises on an ad hoc basis, such as one week here and there, is not going to work. So make sure that you are really motivated before you start these exercises in order to avoid disappointment. Of course the more relaxed and positive you are when carrying out these eye exercises the more likely that the result will be favorable and that you will notice an improvement in your vision.

-One myth that may have credence is that eating carrots will improve eyesight. Those who eat a healthy diet that contains beta carotene, the nutrition in carrots, will not see any deterioration in their seeing powers. But in places in the world where nutrition is lacking, people have benefited from eating carrots simply because they gained beta carotene in their diet. Naturally, as with any body part we own, nutrition forms the groundwork for good health.

steps for better and healthier eyesight:
1. First up – sleep. Yes you probably need more sleep.
Many people are actually getting short changed by 60-90 minutes of sleep a night. And, napping does not compensate for the loss.
Serious sleep disorders are linked to hypertension and increased stress, even increased hormone levels that could lead to cardiac arrhythmias.
2. Drink more water. Yeah, Yeah, you say, but, we used to get enough water in our veggies and fruit, but, since our eating habits have changed, we need to drink more. Water is the most necessary nutrient for your body.
So, what’s this got to do with your eyes you ask? A lack of water leads to dehydration and inadequate lubrication of your eyes.
So if your eyes start looking red, feel irritated, become itchy you know you may just need more water.
3. Make sure you wear sunglasses as they are one of the best ways to protect your eyes. Too much exposure to ultra violet rays can lead to cataracts, macular degeneration or skin cancer around your eyes.
4. I know it’s easy said, but, you need to control and manage your stress. Yes, stress can have a big impact on your vision.
5- Stress put on your eyes from the computer and reading. That exhausted feeling in your eyes after a long day of reading or working on the computer. (You may even be feeling it right now).
Using glasses and contacts. You’ve probably noticed your vision getting worse almost every year since you started wearing them?
The natural aging process. Ain’t life cruel? Pretty soon you can’t hold things far enough away from you face to read them!
These things cause your eyes to become weak and distorted, causing blurred vision and bad eyesight.
6-Once your vision has improved, you just perform the eye exercises a couple times a month to maintain your improvements.
We've talked previously about eye exercises to improve vision and please take advantage of what we have mentioned.

Sleeping is very vital to our health, specially for our eyes. Due to the different activities that you encounter every day, there are times when your eyes are exposed to radiation and the sun's UV rays. These can affect your eyesight. That's why you need to give time to relax your eyes.

Our eyes need to rest. Actually, our bodies need time to relax and restore energy. That's why sleeping is really vital. You can set out a sleeping schedule so you can get the proper amount of sleep everyday.
